We import under the GSK Nordic brand: GSK CNC Equipment Co. Ltd’s robotics, CNC controls and machine tools. Our machine tool selection includes cutting machines, laser marking, welding and cutting equipment, as well as logics, frequency converters, motors and HMI panels on the automation side. Our selection includes Kassow Robots and Elfin collaborative robots. We offer a different robot for a different use, from smaller uses to larger loads. We also represent Danish OnRobot: we offer to our customers different robot accessories and tools, from their comprehensive product selection. We resell the RoboDK program in Finland and offer comprehensive basic training and support in Finnish. We train robot welders and robot users. In the training we use for example RoboDK software, GSK RB robot, Elfin and Kassow Cobots.
We design and manufacture multi-plugging and sampling systems for groundwater research. Our equipment has been designed in cooperation with Posiva and our equipment is used for example Posiva and the Geological research center of Finland (GTK). Together, we have developed the Posiva Multi Packer System, which is made for measuring groundwater in isolated zones. Our equipment can be used in boreholes of different depths, from a few meters to hundreds of meters.
We also help to increase the efficiency of production by offering method and equipment design, the purpose of which is to identify for example potential bottlenecks, increase the degree of automation and secure the various production processes. Universal Robots – beginning of the development of collaborative robots
Robots that are used in cooperation between a human and a robot are called collaborative robots, cobots. Collaborative robots are designed to work like a human arm to boost production, without it getting tired in constant use. The history of cobots can be considered to have started in the 1990s, when Northwestern University and General Motors Corporation started a project that resulted in the first cobots. The first cobot was designed to support a car door on an assembly line to make it easier for humans to move it. However, this cobot was very limited in its functions. However, the time zone of collaborative robots is assumed to have started with the founders of Universal Robots in Denmark in 2005. Esben Østergaard, Kasper Støy and Kristian Kassow wanted to bring robot technology within the reach of small and medium-sized companies.
Their most notable first technological achievement in the robotics community was the lightweight and flexible UR5 cobot. The cobot was designed to be user-friendly, so anyone can quickly install and use the cobot. This has also been taken into account all the time in the development of cobots over the years. In 2012, as the demand grew, the UR10 cobot was developed, the purpose of which was to meet the demand for larger loads and tasks. The lifting capacity of this cobot increased by 10 kg and the reach reached 130 cm.
In 2015, American technology company Teradyne Inc. bought Universal Robots for $285 million. The original owners each went their own way, in the field of technology. Kristian Kassow founded Kassow Robots. The company manufactures and develops strong 7-axis light robots with a unique combination of high power, speed, reach and payload for small and medium-sized industrial companies. Kasper Støy became a professor at the IT University of Copenhagen’s computer science department, a researcher in robotics and artificial intelligence. He is an active participant in the international robotics research community and reviews all major journals and conferences dealing with robotics. Esben Østergaard remained involved in Universal’s operations for a long time and founded REInvest Robotics, a company whose mission is to cooperate with start-up companies to create unique robotics solutions.
Over the years, Universal Robots introduced the UR3 cobot, which is intended for light assembly tasks, and the UR16e cobot, which is intended for heavy material handling and heavy part handling. At the same time, the use of collaborative robots had expanded to many different fields and their benefits were noticed. Along with Universal Robots, other big and small robot manufacturers also started developing their own cobots.
NEW SOLUTIONS WITH INDUSTRIAL ROBOTS
There are many types of collaborative robots, or cobots: one- and two-handed and different sizes and have different payloads. Cobots usually have 6 or 7 joints. The security solutions in cobots are very similar to each other and they work safely in cooperation with a human without a safety fence under certain conditions. Many have force sensors or sensors that detect a collision with an obstacle or getting too close. With the help of collaborative robots, a person can focus more on tasks that require thinking than on physical work such as lifting. Thanks to collaborative robots, even a small company can gain flexibility, efficiency, cost-effectiveness in production, and the quality of work can be improved. elfin collaborative robots
Our product selection includes 6-axis collaboration robots from the Chinese company Elfin Han’s Robot. Payloads between these contact work robots range from three kilograms to up to ten kilograms.
This collaborative robot selection differs from other 6-axis collaborative cobots with its design. The collaborative robots are built from three different modules, with connecting parts between them. The modules are in line with each other, which enables the collaborative robot to stand vertically and work close to its main point.

gsk Industrial robots
GSK industrial robots are cost-effective and offer a comprehensive selection of robots for a different purpose. Currently, GSK industrial Robots are divided into six different series according to their intended use. GSK industrial robots can be used for part handling, welding, polishing, painting, stacking and storage. In the selection have many different products.
According to user requirements, GSK offers robots with excellent performance, design, high-quality selection and high technology. GSK has produced industrial robots with independent intellectual property rights, including robot controllers, servomotors, servo controllers and other key functional components.
Kassow Robots is a Danish collaborative robot manufacturer that develops and produces 7-axis (one additional rotating joint) lightweight collaborative robots. Collaboration robots are designed and manufactured to be fast, strong and have a long reach.
Kassow collaborative robots move up to 225 degrees per second on all 7 axes and the payload is up to 10 kg, without compromising speed. These higher speeds, higher payloads increase production significantly, for example more orders or the number of items to be processed, enable new operations and improve the profitability of existing projects.

The robots can be equipped with a very wide selection of additional devices suitable for different purposes. We are as a representative for the RoboDK software. RoboDK is an offline programming and simulation software for industrial robots. SAFE SOLUTIONS WITH RISK ASSESSMENT
The use of all machines and equipment involves risks, and their identification and awareness is very important. We perform a risk assessment for our customers, where we map the risks and dangers related to the production plant’s machines, equipment and production process. We check that all requirements are met with both new and old machines. With the help of risk assessment, doing work is safer, more efficient and cost-effective.
Operating regulation 403/2008 issued by the Government on the use and inspection of work tools obliges the assessment of risks related to machines, equipment and the production process. Many things must be taken into account when evaluating the risk factors, such as moving parts inside the machine, the exterior and working methods. We have created a three-step ladder according to which the risk assessment will be carried out; Hazard identification, Risk assessment & Protection method planning. We do every step of the risk assessment we prepare in accordance with Operating Decree 403/2008, 400/2008 and SfS EN ISO 12100. A site’s risk assessment is an easy-to-approach and inexpensive way to find out what type of solutions can be used to carry out your operations safely.
